Our Offering team is a central function within Swedbank Pay, responsible for shaping the commercial agenda to maximize the value of our product portfolio for merchants and partners across the Nordic payment market.
We lead the way in identifying and prioritizing customer and market needs – starting with the Offering Roadmap, which in turn informs and guides the Product Roadmap. We take ownership of commercial launches, marketing campaigns, and set the commercial direction for Swedbank Pay’s offerings, driving the commercial agenda to ensure our offerings successfully reach and resonate with the market.
Currently a team of five, we’re now looking for our next Business Development Manager – a commercially driven, strategic thinker with a passion for business and commercial offering development – to help strengthen our capabilities and contribute to our continued success.
More about the position
As Business Development Manager within Swedbank Pay Offering you will together with your colleagues in the team:
Be the front person for our commercial offerings in relation to merchants, partner or any other external as well as internal stakeholders
Own the Offering Roadmap and commercial agenda for how Swedbank Pay generate revenues from both current and future products
Define and prioritize needs towards the product roadmap in accordance with our service development model
Maintain the lifecycle for our commercial offerings and ensure for what we sell within the product area
Supporting Sales in driving the commercial and sales agenda towards new and existing merchants by contributing to prospecting efforts, shaping relevant offerings, building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring our solutions deliver tangible value
This role is both strategic and operational, offering you the opportunity to work across various units on a diverse range of challenges to maximize the value of our products and services.
You will report to the Head of Offering while collaborating closely with Swedbank Pay’s Sales and Product Development Teams as well as other key stakeholders across the organization in your daily work.
We are seeking a commercial and creative doer with a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability identify and drive value maximization of a product portfolio. You should have a structured approach to problem-solving and be skilled at driving challenging activities with several stakeholders with result oriented goals.

We think it’s good if you have:
Experience from the payments industry (e.g. Card Acquiring, Payment Terminals/SoftPOS, Online Payments & Digital wallets, BNPL etc.) preferably within commercial and/or product related roles.
A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with both sales oriented and product development stakeholders.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
